I know somebody that
LOVES YOU!
If you want to know who
you’ll have to read on.
(Inside)
GOD LOVES YOU!
He knows all about you and
He sends you this message. He wants a relationship with YOU!
How does this happen?
Let me ask you a question.
Are you a Christ Follower?
If you are not sure, let’s see what God says it means to be a Christ Follower/Christian.
First, let’s look at what is blocking us from this relationship with God.
Well, it is sin. Sin is all of our wrong doings. It is missing the mark of God’s standards.
The Bible says, “For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Have you ever lied or taken something that wasn’t yours? Said something mean or have had lustful thoughts?
Then you have sinned, haven’t you?
The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is
death
, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
That’s right; sin is our death sentence, again it’s what separates us from God. If we die in our sins, we are eternally lost and forever separated from God. But God made another way and offers it to you. If you are willing to turn from your sins and put your trust in Jesus, you can have eternal life and a relationship with God. There is no way that we can earn it by being good, by going to church, by baptism, or anything else we do. We simply surrender by admitting we are going the wrong way and receive it as a free GIFT through Jesus Christ, God’s only Son.
The Bible says,
“But as many as receive Him (Jesus), to them He gave the power to become the children of God…” John 1:12
Suppose you had an incurable disease, and one day you read of a doctor who had a cure for that disease. Let’s suppose he offered to give you the cure for free.
What would you do? Receive it and be cured, or refuse it and lose your life?
You can believe that this doctor’s medicine will cure you, but unless you personally receive it, you still have your disease.
It is the same in our spiritual lives. You need to take some steps.
Have YOU taken the step of faith to receive Jesus Christ personally as your Lord and Savior?
Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if anyone hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him...Revelation 3:20
When Jesus says, “I stand at the door” He is speaking about the door to your heart and life.
Friend, the Lord Jesus Christ is knocking at your heart’s door right NOW. Will you invite Him to come into your heart and life.
(Back)
God has made the way and it is up to you to simply to accept it. What will your answer be? You can receive Jesus right now, if this prayer expresses the true desire of your heart: Lord Jesus, I admit I am lost and separated from you by my sins. I am willing to turn from my sins with your help. I put my full trust and faith in You, who paid the penalty for my sins. I receive you as my Savior and want you to be the Lord and Leader of my life from now on. Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart and life as you promised.
Amen.
So...Which choice did you make? I received or I rejected Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord.
Jesus said, “He that is not with me is against me.” Matt 12:30
If your choice was to turn from your sins and asked Jesus to be the Lord
and Savior of your life, you are now a follower of Christ, a Christian.
How do you know?
Jesus said, “ I WILL come in.”
Rev. 3:20
God can now accept you into His family because all of your sins--past, present, and future–have all been placed on His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible says, that God was in Christ no longer counting people’s sins against them but blotting them out.
For God took the sinless Christ and laid on Him our sins. Then, in exchange, He gives us God’s goodness and righteousness.
These are some more verses in the Bible to read that will help you.
I John 1:9, Ephesians 2:8-9,
II Corinthians 5:17, Romans 10:9-10.
To grow in your relationship with God continue to read the Bible which is God’s Word to us.
Obey what He shows you as you read. Find other believers in Jesus to help you in your walk. Share with others what God has done in your life.

Do you hope to go to Heaven when you die? You can know! Before you read this ask God to please reveal Your truth to me.
(Inside)
The Bible says that if you have kept God’s commandments
100%
in thought, word and deed, then you can go to heaven by your
good life.
Matthew 19:16-19
BUT
if you haven’t . . .
...there is bad news,
James 2:10 says, “If you obey all the Laws
but one
, you are as guilty as the one who has broken them all.” This means you have failed. Romans 6:23a says “You get what is coming to you when you sin. It is death!”
This is eternal death and separation from God forever, which is hell!
Have you ever sinned?
(Sin is breaking any of God’s comands.) Do you feel guilty about these sins? Are you will ing to turn from your sins? If yes...
God loves you and has a gift for you. Gifts can either be received or rejected. You don’t earn them. Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by His loving-favor you have been saved from the punish ment of sin through faith. It is not by anything you have done. It is a gift of God.”
God has paid for your sins if you will accept His gift.
Now it’s up to you!
If you are feeling sorry for your sins and are willing to turn from them, God will forgive you.
1 John 1:9 says, “If we tell Him our sins, He is faithful and we can depend on Him to forgive us of our sins. He will make our lives clean from all sin.”
God does this by taking your sins and placing them on His Son, Jesus. Jesus came to this earth, lived a sinless and perfect life. He died on a cross, taking the punishment and penalty for your sins. He then rose from the dead, con quering death, thus making Him the only way we can be saved from our sins.
The gift then, is Jesus and the payment He made. The only way to receive this gift is through faith, which is the same as completely trusting that this message is true. It is total surrender to Him. He wants to be more than just your Savior, He wants to be your Lord, Master and best friend too.
Romans 10:9 says, “If you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved from the punishment of sin.”

If you are ready for Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, simply say to God; “I have sinned and want You to save me from my sins, which would send me to hell. I am putting my trust in what Jesus did on the cross. I want you to be my Savior and the Lord of my life.”
If you have truly and sincerely believed what you prayed, you
have been born again spiritually and are a new person in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “For if a man belongs to Christ, he is a new per son. The old life is gone. New life has begun.”You now need to follow Jesus. This means not only letting Him be your Savior but also your Lord. He will faithfully lead you if you will let Him.
A great place to start would be to read the Gospel of John. It is one book of the Bible. Over time continue reading the other books of the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to be your helper. Obey what He teaches you. Also, start attending a local Bible teaching church.
This is the biggest decision of your life.
