    A vintage Madame Alexander doll - Marme, from Little Women.
    Marked on back of neck:  " Alexander 1961".
    The doll is  12",  vinyl head,  hard plastic body, jointed, blue sleep eyes, dark brown hair.
    Clothing - burgundy cotton dress, white cotton eyelet pinafore w/white lace, white sox, black velvet Mary Jane style shoes ,  lace-trimmed white petticoat & bloomers .
    Condition - overall good.  However, this doll has been in storage for decades & has some white marks on her eyes. One eyelid appears to have a few very tiny scratches.  Otherwise good.
