23” MADAME ALEXANDER “TIMMIE TODDLER” 1960-61” GOOGLY EYES, RARE & HTF

Description

Offered here is “Timmie Toddler” a very large toddler doll by Madame Alexander, produced 1960-61 only and these dolls are very rare and hard to find.  She is made of vinyl with chubby cheeks, nurser mouth large round blue flirty eyes (they move from side to side when doll is moved); she has rooted blonde saran hair that is worn in a short bob.  The hair is somewhat flat from years of storage, but a shampoo and style should remedy that The body is hard vinyl with dimples at the knees, elbows and backs of the hands.  There is a non-working Mama crier box inserted in her back.  She is dressed in original labeled pink and white gingham romper and white pinafore with pink rickrack trim.  Her socks are short and ribbed and her white shoes have ribbon ties.  This doll is in very gently used condition – she came to me from the estate of original owner and has been stored for about 55 years.  NOTE:  There is a small tear in the fabric of the top of the romper at the neck between the collar pieces.
