Bavarian's Old Style Vintage Cone Top Beer Can Tole Painted Pennsylvania Dutch

This is a vintage Bavarian's Old Style cone top beer can that was made in Covington, Kentucky. When I purchased it, it was completely tole painted and found in Pennsylvania. The painting was done in the 1950s. This can was painted completely red then another layer of black and then the design of the bird and flowers on top. The can measures approximately 5-5/8" tall with a diameter of 2.75".
In a few key areas, I stripped the paint just down to the red layer—just thin enough so I could see through it and see what brand of the can it is. There is a spot just under the rim on top and just above the rim on the bottom where you can see shiny gold. There are a few chips in the paint where you can also see clean shiny gold. Just above the bird, there is a spot that I stripped and you can see that it is the very beginning of the letter "
B
" of Bavarian's. Towards the very top, there's a small red spot I stripped where you can see part of the white line that goes around the main logo. I also stripped another small spot on the bottom of the can. It is definitely 100% a Bavarian's Old Style can underneath.
I cannot tell you with entire certainty of the condition but from what I can see, the can is going to be in excellent condition. Every spot that I looked at has been very shiny except for the very bottom of the can that has some discolored marks. There are no major dents that I can see at all. There are a couple extremely small dings that are not hard dings but just barely noticeable when you look in the light. I do not know the exact way of stripping this can, so I would rather put it here on eBay and let the people who know how to do it strip it properly.
Is there a risk involved?
Yes.
But from what I can see, at the minimum it's going to come out to be a decent-looking can. But there's always that chance that it could be excellent.
Once the high bidder owns this can, it cannot be returned once you start stripping it, so please be aware of that. If you decide to return the can, it must be in the exact condition when purchased.
Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. I'm starting this can at a low price so that the risk is minimized. I have seen cans stripped that have been in perfect condition underneath. This can could be a 0-0 can if it's in really good condition. I would bet that it is going to be a clean can underneath from what I can see.
