The book analyzes the assortment of medicinal plants used in the practice of the Mongolian version of Tibetan medicine based on the Mongolian Tibetan-language treatise "Dzeitskhar-Migzhan". It was revealed that during the period of writing the treatise (late XVIII - early XIX centuries), Tibetan medicine in Mongolia was based mainly on the plants of the Mongolian flora. In addition to Mongolian plants, plants of Indian, Chinese and Tibetan flora were also used. The book is intended for botanists, pharmacognosters, pharmacologists and for those who are interested in the history of science and culture of the East. For orientalists, an Appendix has been prepared for the book in the form of a catalog of medicinal plants with an indication of their Latin and Chinese names and a brief description of their medicinal properties in Tibetan.
