FRIDIGAIRE BUICK GENTLEMAN'S KNIFE 3 BLADES AND SCISSORS STAINLESS MADE IN ITALY

You are bidding on a rare and vintage circa 1900 Buick - Frigidaire  advertisement item . This knife has 2 blades and a combination blade/file and a scissors.The scissors work as they should. The knife is marked Italy  stainless.The blades are not bent or chipped.The history of this knife is that an owner of GM William Durant     ( founder of General Motors) personally financed the purchase of Frigidaire by GM (Buick) in the early 1900's.The Knife on one side has a very intricate and elaborate checkerboard pattern that can be seen if you zoom in on pictures 4 & 5. If you zoom in on picture # 1 you can see the bottom line is engraved Buick-Frigidaire .It was after he bought the Frigidaire company that they started to install air conditioning in the Buick cars.  If you have any questions please ask before bidding.
