Beeswax, Lanolin, & Sitka Spruce Sap Water Repellent

    Made in Kodiak, Alaska
Receive 5oz of wax, which will be packaged as three bars.
Kodiak Wax can be used for all of your fabric waxing needs, and is specially designed for camping, hunting, hiking, and miscellaneous adventuring about in the woods.
It’s made with beeswax, lanolin, and Sitka Spruce tree sap harvested in Kodiak, Alaska.
It works great on waterproofing Carhartts, and can be applied to the cuffs and knees to keep the water out.  It also works well rubbed on zippers for those extra rainy and windy days, or use it to make your own wax wraps to keep your food fresh while you are out in the field.
    Alaska Directions:
Melt the wax in an old salmon can or similarly sized container by heating in hot water.  You can also just rub it onto fabric or zippers directly.  After applying, lay gear by the wood stove to encourage wax to fully penetrate your canvas, or you can throw your gear in an old game bag and put it in the sauna.  Wax will come out in the wash over time.  Reapply as needed.
    Alternative Directions:
Melt the wax in an old but clean tuna can or similarly sized container by heating in hot water.  You can also just rub it onto fabric or zippers directly.  After applying, lay gear out in the sun to encourage wax to fully penetrate your canvas, or you can throw your gear in an old pillowcase and put it in the dryer.  Wax will come out in the wash over time.  Reapply as needed.
