MADAME ALEXANDER BRIDE DOLL - 18" MARGARET FACE -  FASHION AWARD TAG

Description

Beautiful Madame Alexander Wedding Bride Doll in good vintage condition from the 1950s.
She has her special MA wrist tag. 18" tall.
Five piece body nice overall coloring.
Please Note: This doll's neck needs to be restrung as her head does not sit securely on her neck and wobbles back and forth. It is possible that she needs total restringing, but I am not an expert.
Her face is light in tone, no blush left, but with no marks, chips, scrapes, or paint rubs. Her hair is dark blonde and worn in a lovely original set with the original spanner bar still in her hair.
Her eyes are beautiful honey brown, clear sleep eyes, with all her lashes. Her lips are red.
The doll's satin bridal gown is in good vintage condition.
The dress is tagged Madame Alexander.
The lace and gown have undergone a darker tone due to age. All the lace is intact.  There are tiny clear rhinestones added into the bodice for sparkle. She gown has a pretty flare waist. The long puffed sleeves are trimmed with lace.
She is wearing her original matching veil with floral headpiece. The veil does have some minor holes from age I tried to show in photo, typical of age. The gown and veil are both in vintage condition, darker from age.
She is wearing her original slip, underpants, nylons and shoes. She has a lily of the valley bouquet attached to her wrist with ribbon (may not be original, it is a little sparse so may be lost a few flowers over the years.)
On her original wrist tag it says Mme. Alexander Dolls.
The Fashion Academy Award awarded Madame Alexander with the prestigious award.
Please Note: The doll is fairly well-strung, except her neck will need restringing
as it tilts backwards when she is leaned backwards.
No cracks, no broken parts. No repaint.
This doll is nearly complete, but she does not have her garter belt on leg. No stand or box. No cracks, splits or odors.
