Madame Alexander Vintage Rare Style Scarlett Doll 10”

Description

Madame Alexander’s Cissette Portrette as “Scarlett” from 1968. She was only made for one year (‘68-‘69) in this style with the black braid trim on skirt, model #1174.
She comes on stand. Except for small discolored area on hat brim, all fabric is crisp and clean.
Scarlett is from the Portrette series that has blue eye shadow, rosey cheeks, and nail polish on her fingers. She has green open and close eyes—working. She is wearing a cameo necklace. She is 10" tall with long, curly, brunette hair. Wearing green taffeta gown with black soutache/braid trim, matching jacket and brimmed bonnet with pink floral accent, tulle-edged petticoat, stockings.
Offers accepted. This doll has been lovingly displayed in a glass showcase for over 50 years—out of sunlight, and no strong artificial light. I inherited this beautiful doll from my grandmother but am selling to subsidize education expenses.
