In total, the reference book contains data on 43 plant species. In addition to already cultivated plants, the author describes some new, most promising species that are introduced or are supposed to be introduced into culture, as well as a small number of wild medicinal and essential oil plants. The book also contains brief information on 38 additional species, such as marshmallow, volerian, gentian, adonis, chamomile, angelica, iris, poppy, foxglove, podophyllum, rhubarb, rose, thyme and wild rose. The reference book is designed for botanists, biologists, agronomists, doctors, graduate students, students, workers of state and collective farms and everyone interested in medicinal and essential oil crops.
