RARE! ANTIQUE WOODEN EXIDE BATTERY CASE TYPE 5-BTMP3 WITH ORIGINAL 5 GLASS JARS

Description

This antique wooden Exide battery case Type 5-BTMP3 comes with original 5 glass jars. It is a rare find for collectors of unique and historical items. The clear color of the jars and the United States origin of manufacture add to its value. This battery case is a perfect marking that it is from "The Electric Storage Battery Co. Philadelphia, PA. PC No. 25000 & P.O. No. 26140". It has its original porcelain feet in good condition for age and use. The bottles are all in good condition with two bottles having a small chip each on top (see photo 11, the 1st two on right) Its age is 1900-1940's and a wonderful addition to any collection of vintage items. The entire set as a unit is 14-3/8"L x 5-3/8"W x 9"H. Each jar is 4-3/16"L x 2"W x 7-5/16"H. Outside diameter thickness of glass jar is 1/8". It is an outstanding deal!
