This is cool. Exciter headlined 2 shows with then relatively unknown Exodus and Megadeth. Exodus, off the coat tails of Kirk Hammett, who ditched them for Metallica,  created and released a "Kirk influenced" Bonded By Blood. Great album, still thrashes. Megadeth Just released Killings my business (and business is good), and were writing Peace Sells (but who's buying?), with Dave Mustaine doing the heavy lifting, after being DUMPED by Metallica. The story has it that after Metallica had to move to Cali in order to get Cliff Burton (smart) they went to New York in May of '83 to record Metal Up Your Ass (debut album) and fired Dave Mustaine, replacing him with Kirk Hammett THE SAME AFTERNOON! Dave hated Kirk, and here he was as a third act 2 years later, for Exciter right behind Kirks old band. Kirk was touring a little album called Kill 'Em All and writing Master of Puppets around this time.
This poster, in really small writing, actually says
featuring Dave Mustaine - Ex Metallica
right under the band name. He was so pissed he MADE IT!! Peace Sells to this day is one of my all time favorites! Sweet poster with all the authenticity included, historic. This is a must have. Don't be a cheapskate. I doubt this is out there anyway and Reproductions Suck! They don't have the vibration of the show or the look of real thrash. Buy it from someone who went to the show, not a poser with a xerox.
