Vintage Barbie 1961 HTF "Open Road" Outfit #985 • COMPLETE & NM/EUC

Description

Barbie's "Open Road" outfit #985 was available from 1961 -1962 and many of the pieces are hard to find, especially in excellent to near mint condition. This listing is for the COMPLETE outfit and includes the following items:
• slim red, gray and black striped pants that close in the back with a smooth working YKK zipper
• khaki car coat lined with the same striped material as the pants. All VHTF toggles and frogs are present - one toggle is loose. Lining is spotless. Black and white Barbie® tag attached.
• HTF beige short sleeve sweater with no holes. Two stitches of yarn are coming loose - one at the neckline in the back and one in the seam of the left sleeve. Fastens in the back with three snaps.
• straw hat with a wide brim and red chiffon around the crown. Attached red chiffon scarf with
no
holes or snags. Very little fraying on the brim.
• HTF red sunglasses with blue lenses. Both side pieces are intact and moveable. Lens have no cracks. No melts.
• HTF pair of cork wedges with red uppers. One has a thin crack in the sole that has been well repaired.
• HTF paper Mattel road map with all four panels. No tears, creases or markings.
No tears, stains, holes, markings or repairs. Very clean and unwrinkled with no unpleasant odors. A red hanger is included. Ready to hit the road!
