Vintage Barbie: 1964 Ken "The Prince" Outfit #772 •NM/EUC •Just Missing Program

Description

Ken's "The Prince" (outfit #0772) was available from 1964 - 1965. This listing is for the near complete outfit (just missing the theatre program) and includes the following items:
• dark green and gold brocade jacket. Four rhinestone buttons. Lace trim on the cuffs. Gold epaulettes. Closes with two well attached snaps. Black and white Ken® tag, as well as the paper inspection tag, is attached.
• VHTF white ruff collar edged with lace. Elastic is stretched.
• "gold" nylon tights attached to short green velvet pants with slits. (There must be an official name for these, but I have no idea what it is!) Elastic waist is stretched and there is some fraying on the edges of the slits. No runs, pulls or snags in the tights.
• green velvet cape with collar. Fully lined with gold satin. Small nickel-sized stain near the edge of the lining (don't mistake the shadow for the stain!) that I have not tried to remove.
• VHTF gold velvet hat with a pearl encircled "emerald" and a long white feather. Headband inside is intact and adjustable. There is an impression on the top where the headband is placed.
• pair of green velvet shoes with gold braid trim. No rubs in the velvet, but one end of the braid has become detached from the other end
No holes, tears, markings or repairs. All stitching is tight. Colors are rich and vivid. Very clean and unwrinkled with no unpleasant odors. A regal outfit!
