Beautiful Elise Ballerina doll, Madame Alexander, #1652
17" hard vinyl with jointed head, legs, arms.
Blonde rooted hair, hazel sleep eyes, upper lashes, hand painted features
She has such a calm, haughty expression, as if she just knows someone is going to come along and return her to her former glory!
Marked on back of neck: Alexander
Dress has sewn on label: "Elise Ballerina" by Madame Alexander New York, USA
She has most of her original costume: pretty pink tutu, classic style with fitted bodice and satin bow at the waist that leads to rich, frothy layers of netting and tulle below.  A few rhinestones are scattered around, as are a few little clusters of pink faux flowers.  She wears a crown of the same pink faux flowers and beads.  The outfit is completed with
double strands of rhinestones as a choker-style necklace and
pale pink sheer stockings and a single lace up pink ballet shoe.
Please see photos for condition.  I notice soil on one leg, missing shoe, tiny bit of damage to pinky finger on her left hand, wear to her corsage and one of the flower clusters on her skirt.  Her hair is generally good but perhaps a bit compressed in the back and loosened in the front.  Sleepy eyes work and her face is gorgeous.  Her eyes may have a bit of haze; I have not tried to clean them.
No stand, box or hang tag.
